By downloading, buying, or playing WRECKCHORD, or by creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the game or the online features.
WRECKCHORD is a paid app. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to install and play it on devices you control. You own your copy of the game; you don't own the game itself, its code, art, music, or brand.
An account is optional and free. You're responsible for your callsign and password and for activity under your account. Keep your login safe. One human, real progress - accounts exist to save your own play, not to farm, share, or trade.
The leaderboards only mean something if they're honest. So this is a hard line, and by playing you agree not to:
If we determine an account is cheating or tampering, we ban it. A banned account loses access to the leaderboards, loses cloud sync, has its cloud save revoked, and its online profile is locked. You keep the app you paid for and can still play offline with whatever save is on your device - we're revoking the online privileges, not the game.
No refunds will be issued for a purchase on an account found cheating or tampering. Any refund outside the app store's own standard window is at our sole discretion, and cheating accounts get none.
Detection may be automated. We can review a ban and reverse it if it was a genuine mistake - if you believe you were banned in error, email support@wreckchord.com. Deliberate cheating is not a mistake.
Your callsign and run results are shown publicly on the leaderboards and player pages. Pick a callsign that isn't offensive, impersonating, or infringing - we can rename, hide, or remove entries and callsigns that break these terms or that we believe are illegitimate.
The app is sold through its platform store — currently Google Play, with iOS (coming soon), Steam, and consoles (tbd) — and that store handles payment and its own standard refund window. Outside that window, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law, and, as above, cheating accounts are not eligible for any refund or goodwill credit.
We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your own account any time from your profile.
WRECKCHORD and its online services are provided "as is," without warranties. We aren't liable for lost progress, downtime, or indirect damages, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We may change or discontinue the online features.
